Welcome to Fall Senior Expo 2013

Looking for information on senior products, resources, communities or assistance? Come to the Fall Senior Expo Oct. 1 at the Hilton Garden Inn in Freeport. Admission is free, and there is no registration.

We’ve gathered representatives from many senior communities, home health companies, insurance planners, estate management, rehabilitation and much more to showcase their services and be available for questions all day. On Oct. 1, you’ll be able to visit and talk with over 30 vendors from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

Thinking about finding in-home care? Advantage Home Care, Assistance Plus, Casco Bay Home Care, and Home Instead Senior Care offer home care in different parts of the region.

Interested in exploring senior living options? There will be senior communities represented that offer dementia care, like Avita of Stroudwater, Cape Memory Care, Sedgewood Commons and Fallbrook Woods. Other communities, like Bay Square of Yarmouth, Hawthorne House and Freeport Place, and Thornton Oaks, offer a wide range of senior living.

Other booths range from home de?cor, like Maine Coastal Interiors, to homes-away-from-home, like Seacoast RV.

For a $5 donation, you can get an antique appraised (benefits the Alzheimer’s Association). We’ll have a Zumba Gold demonstration, and big band music in the afternoon by The Frankie and Johnny Show. And don’t forget our lecture rooms, with six speakers on topics ranging from intergenerational financial planning to new options for dementia care.

When you come in, be sure and pick up your free Expo bag, courtesy of Advantage Home Care. Now’s the time to enter the drawing for the Grand Prize. Our grand prize includes:
