Maine Senior Expo Guide

Andy Valley Senior Expo

June 21, 2017 | 9 a.m.–2 p.m.
Riverwatch Hilton Garden Inn,
14 Great Falls Plaza, Auburn

Welcome to the Andy Valley Senior Expo! Because we write this six weeks before the show, you’re sure to find many more resources exhibiting on June 21! There is so much going on for mature Mainers that it’s an exciting time to explore options. Come to the Andy Valley Senior Expo to learn about Medicare insurance plans, senior communities, home health care, hearing assistance, cell services, rehabilitation and health care, estate management and senior travel.

Bring a small antique for an appraisal by Daniel Buck of Daniel Buck Auctions and Appraisals. Daniel is a former appraiser for Antiques Road Show, and maybe you’ll discover your little gem is worth big bucks. Appraisals all day, with a $5 donation going to the Maine Alzheimer’s Association.

Come for an hour or stay all day, but don’t miss the entertainment in the afternoon by former Broadway performer Dennis St. Pierre of Across the Ages Entertainment.

We have four speakers talking in the small Speaker’s Gallery just outside the Expo Hall.

At 10 a.m. Kathleen Kienitz of The Law Office of Kathleen Kienitz will discuss advanced directives and lead a hands-on workshop. When you leave, you’ll have a witnessed advanced directive that will set out all your wishes and directions for care down in one legal document.

At noon, Expo gold sponsor Spectrum Healthcare Partners take to the floor to talk about advances in medical care and senior health.

Thanks to our sponsors

Many thanks to our expo gold sponsor Spectrum Healthcare Partners (Booth #28). See them to learn about all the highly skilled medical help they provide in our area. Our media partners help us spread the word about senior expo offerings. Thank you to Maine Seniors magazine (Booth #15) and to My Generation/Sun Journal (Booth #34).
